The author has assembled various bits and pieces of text related to Indigenous history and provided them in a file for anyone who is interested. These are not a comprehensive history, but simply represent things that were written in the early versions of the book, then reduced or edited out to keep focus for the story. Since there is an important Indigenous component in the Speedy story, represented not only by Ogetonicut and his family, but the wider communities of the time, the author felt it useful to include this information.
