​2014 - The Dr. King Story

On February 20, 2014, the full story of Dr. King was told for the first time by historian Dan Buchanan, from the unique position of being a relative of the murder. The intermission during the two hour presentation served as an opportunity for Roger McMurray to announce his donation of the King collection to Proctor House Museum. Ron Waddling (right) was MC for the event.
Murder In The Family: The Dr. King Story was published in June 2015 to make this unique story available to all those interested in a good murder story and some fascinating Brighton history.
