Presqu'ile Videos 1927 The Brighton Digital Archives web site provides access to two videos about Presqu'ile Point that were shot in 1927 as a promotional project. The Ontario government saw that summer resorts like Presqu’ile were becoming very popular and were, in fact, an important part of the economy of the province. The Brighton Digital Archives acquire the original tapes and were able to have them digitized, so we can enjoy them on our computers. I have to encourage everyone to watch these videos. They are amazing. They show real live scenes at picnics and regattas, around the hotel and dance pavilion as well as at the dock. They even have music, which makes them even more charming.
