Now you may understand why I won’t shut up about The Tobey Book. This is really an amazing resource and we are so lucky to have it in our library. We can be grateful to Mr. Tobey and Mr. Sprung and Miss Nyland for creating such a useful document and to the Brighton Public Library for housing it and making sure it is available to the community. I would only recommend that, if you are going to use any part of the material here, please attribute it properly as coming from The Tobey Book. Of course, I know most people will not take the time to look at the Tobey Book, and that’s OK, but I feel it is useful for people around the community to know of its existence and understand how it is being used. It is one of the first icons on my computer screen and it gets used a lot. I am pretty sure that, if it was a paper book, it would be falling apart by now. Thanks for your interest in Brighton history. If you have any questions or comments, please email me at danbuchanan@cogeco.ca.
